Lee from Mississauga, Ontario, is a long-stick midfielder who played with the University of Albany from 2023-26.
His breakout season came in his third year with the team. That year, he retrieved 33 ground balls and forced 10 turnovers, along with a goal and an assist. Then in his senior season (2026), he appeared in 17 games, set career highs with two goals, two assists, four points, and 28 ground balls to go with eight turnovers caused, according to the University of Albany website.

This is what General Manager and head coach of the FireWolves said about him, according to the Oshawa FireWolves website:

“Justin is a big body and incredibly versatile,” said Glenn Clark, FireWolves general manager and head coach. “We like his size, IQ and ability to play at both ends of the floor.”

Clark obviously sees a player who can play at both sides of the floor. An all-arounder who will likely play an important role in the FireWolves 2026-27 NLL season.

The 6’5” forward had success with the Oakville Rock of Major Series Lacrosse. He joins another former Oakville Rock player, Alex Simmons, with the Oshawa FireWolves, according to Our Sports Centre website.

The FireWolves gave up many goals in their inaugural season in Oshawa, and they hope to change that next season.

Andrew Bowman (Third Round, 33rd Pick)

Bowman said he grew up playing ice hockey and lacrosse growing up. The Nanaimo native said this about moving solely to lacrosse and how the game of ice hockey helped him, according to the Marquette Wire website:

“The culture of the game is very similar to hockey,” Andrew said. “They are two different sports, but still similar at the same time in the sense of game management. Seeing the field is like seeing the ice.”

Bowman has excelled in the game of lacrosse but has taken influences from the game of ice hockey into his game.

He won the Most Valuable Player Award, as Bowman said this according to Dan Marshall for the Nanaimo News Now website:

“It was an amazing playoff series even though it didn’t come out the way we wanted to; it was a classic. Almost every game could have gone either way by the third period. It’s something I’ll never forget. And also, a lot of our guys I’ve played with since I was five years old, so wrapping up a career and my season with them was a cool experience.”

Andrew Bowman (Nanaimo), in his last year with the BC Junior A Lacrosse League, earned the Henry “Del” Delmonico Trophy – Most Valuable Player and also the Bowman Keith McEachren Trophy – Most Sportsmanlike Player, according to Andy Watson for the BCJALL website.

The left forward also played for Marquette from 2023-26. In 2023, he was the fifth freshman in program history to score many goals in his first career appearance in his start against Lindenwood on February 4.

He was also named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week on February 6. He had 11 goals and two assists. Bowman also provided five goals and dished out one assist in the 2024 season. This included scoring a hat trick against the Detroit Mercury on February 13. Then in 2025, he took part in 14 games and had six points, two goals and four assists.
